DIDACTIC GAME is a participatory teaching technique aimed at developing in the students methods of correct direction and behavior, thus stimulating discipline with an adequate level of decision and self-determination; that is, it not only promotes the acquisition of knowledge and the development of skills, but also contributes to the achievement of motivation for the subjects; that is, it constitutes a form of teaching work that provides a wide variety of procedures for the training of students in decision-making for the solution of various problems.

Kids are encouraged to learn through games specially when learning a new language. Just the way kids learn at home with board games. Games in the classrooom are very helpful to youngsters. Following are five reasons to use games in the classroom: 1) Use flashcards games for kids to learn new words vocabularies. Put students in group of 4 or 5. Then give directions of the game. What they do not know is that they are given a different set of rules. 2) Games that provide a practice for engaging practice. Use charades. That it is important to do it that way because workbooks are not engaging whatsoever. 3) One activity called the verb game. It is important for the students to get excited about this game. Especially if they never played that game before. 4) Through games kids can have everlasting memories for their lives. They can learn words from acting. 5) Grab students attention by actively engaging them. There are countless skills that can be learn through games. One of the games is guessing words.

HOW TO MAKE BOARD GAMES:
ASSIGNMENT N #1: Go through the given examples of board games. Create three (3) lesson plans using board games. Remember  you have to create your own board games. Decide the level of the students, proficiency level, skill to reinforced. Use the lesson plan template given in the class. When it is done please upload three lesson plans and three board games in Module 2.

ASSIGNMENT N #2: Go through the text at the end of Module 2 "Games for Language Learning". Choose  any 5 (five) games from the entire text and explain why did you choose those games? How are you going to use them with your students and finally what benefit they will provide to your students.  When it is done please upload your work in Module 2.
